SoapCity Names Marketing Head

published Sony Pictures Digital has named Robert Talbot vice president of marketing for
SoapCity (www.soapcity.com), its
soap-opera destination.
Talbot, who formerly was VP of business development at Lifetime Television,
will now oversee SoapCity's marketing and promotional efforts, including
promotional and sponsorship opportunities for the SoapCity Network.
Soapcity.com averages 2.9 million unique monthly visitors who are interested
in its information content on all 10 daytime television soap operas, the company
said.
The site also includes an online boutique called SoapCity
Store.
