Speed Winds Up Its Rolex
Speed Channel will air 14-and-a-half hours of live coverage from the 43rd running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona, Fla., beginning Feb. 5 at noon (EST), the network said Wednesday.
The network will air live from Daytona Feb. 5 from noon-7 p.m. and 8 p.m.-11 p.m., as well as Feb. 6 from 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
As far as on-air talent, Bob Varsha and Leigh Diffey will provide play-by-play; David Hobbs and Dorsey Schroeder will offer analysis; Calvin Fish, Brian Till and Chris Neville will handle pit reporting; and grand marshall and three-time Rolex 24 at Daytona winner Derek Bell will also spend time in Speed’s booth.
Speed will also follow several top teams for behind-the-scenes special Champions' Quest, set to air Feb. 17 at 9 p.m.
