Viacom Inc.’s Spike TV cable network and Infinity Broadcasting Corp. radio operation Monday will convert an AM-radio station in Las Vegas into a “Spike Radio” station, aiming at male listeners with a sports-heavy program mix.
“Spike 1140 AM -- Radio for Men” features current popular hosts like “Don and Mike” and, in January, it will add Sporting News Radio.
MTV Networks’ Spike TV will also produce brief segments on men’s issues.
