Sportsman Channel, continuing its rollout with the nation's leading distributor, has launched its high-definition service with Comcast in the Albuquerque area.
Sportsman Channel HD is now available on Comcast's channel 882 in Albuquerque and surrounding communities. Sportsman Channel is also carried on Comcast's Digital Preferred tier on channel 278.
"We are excited about the continued expansion in our relationship with Comcast, rolling out our high-definition service to Albuquerque's passionate base of hunters, shooters and anglers," said Sportman Channel CEO Gavin Harvey in announcing the launch. "Sportsman continues to innovate and improve the traditional media approach to serving the American Sportsmen with our slate of original programming. We are focused on delivering superior value to our partners and viewers via the highest quality and most entertaining content available, season after season, and in stunning HD."
Sportsman Channel has recently announced new programming debuting this fall on the network, including shows targeting the outdoors lifestyle on public lands called On Your Own Adventures, and an original production with Beau Turner, son of media mogul Ted Turner, called Beau Knows Outdoors.
