Sprout Hires Kristen Campolattaro as VP, Brand Marketing
Sprout has hired Kristen Campolattaro as vice president of brand marketing at the NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment preschool network, reporting to VP of of Marketing & Digital Jennifer Giddens. Campolattaro will act as the lead authority and promoter of the Sprout brand, ensuring consistent expression through all consumer and cultural touch points, the network said. She will partner with Giddens to use insights and strategic thinking to set brand marketing and digital/social plans and strategy. She also will collaborate with the communications, programming and finance teams to ensure each campaign strategy is accurately represented and effective, and will work closely with research to identify audience targets, platform opportunities, and key consumer takeaways.
Campolattaro joins Sprout after founding Brandavore, a brand strategy and marketing consulting firm, in 2013. She also is an adjunct professor at Columbia University in the Masters Program in Strategic Communications. Prior to founding Brandavore, Campolattaro was the head of brand strategy & social media of NOOK by Barnes & Noble.
