Starz App Launches On Xbox One
Starz will distribute its online app on the Xbox One video game and entertainment system as part of an agreement announced Wednesday.
The Starz app, which offers the pay TV service’s original series and theatrical movie releases like Star Wars: The Force Awakens, will be available for download to owners of the Microsoft-based gaming platform, said network officials.
The app is available to Starz subscribers on an authenticated basis as well as standalone for $8.99 per month.
Starz adds Xbox One to the list of other distribution platforms for its app, including Roku, iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, as well as Apple TV devices.
