AT&T U-verse and Starz Entertainment are putting free video under the tree of the telco's video subscribers.
The distributor and premium programmer are making an exclusive free preview of Starz Entertainment's flagship premium channels, Starz and Encore, including HD channels Starz HD & Encore HD, available on Dec. 24 and Christmas.
U-verse TV's Buzz (300) and Theatre (200) channels will also carry a simulcast of Starz HD during the free preview period.
Among the theatricals that can be screened during the free preview: Alice in Wonderland, Bedtime Stories, The Ugly Truth, Field of Dreams, The Blues Brothers and Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
