'Outlander' Episode Generates Nearly 900,000 Streams
Nearly 1 million people have viewed the first episode of Starz’ Outlander prior to its Aug. 9 premiere, the network said Friday.
The first episode of the series, adapted from author Diana Gabadon’s best-selling books, has been seen 897,372 times by more than 600,000 unique viewers between Aug. 2 and Aug. 7 via Starz On Demand, Starz Play, Starz.com, Youtube and Xfinity On Demand, said network officials. The network has made the first episode available for several other series, including Power, Black Sails and Da Vinci’s Demons, but none have generated the streaming views Outlander has thus far generated, said Starz.
