Starz will give viewers a chance to relive or experience the first season of original series Da Vinci’s Demons for the first time with a marathon presentation of episodes prior to the show’s return for its sophomore run.
The premium programmer will air two episodes back-to-back each night, beginning March 17 and running through March 20, at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Season-one marathons will also be broadcast on Starz in Black, Starz Edge and Encore, prior to the second-season premiere on March 22 at 9 p.m. (ET/PT) on Starz. The sophomore campaign extends to 10 episodes.
From Saturday, March 8 – 23, Starz also will proffer the entire eight-episode first season of Da Vinci’s Demons for sampling to all U.S. consumers online at Starz.com and on the Starz Play service. Many of the network’s large cable, satellite, and telco affiliates will present the entire first season through their respective free on demand and online platforms.
The series created by David S. Goyer (Man of Steel, The Dark Knight trilogy) follows the ‘untold’ story of the world's greatest genius, Leonardo da Vinci, during his turbulent youth during the Renaissance.
