Suddenlink To Target Its Own TV Ads Locally
Suddenlink Communications will use Visible World's advanced-advertising system to create ads tailored to its local markets that promote services to new and existing subscribers.
Using Visible World's intelliSpot Dashboard, Suddenlink regional marketers will be able to create their own ads, using assets developed by The Richards Group, based on their local markets.
For example, Suddenlink's first campaign features humorous scenes showing people "bowling with meat, spray painting a fan, and christening a rubber raft, to name a few," the company said. The spot concludes with a local or regional offer with different bundles and pricing. The system allows for hundreds of possible ads, according to Visible World.
"Visible World allows us to spend our TV ad dollars more wisely and efficiently," Suddenlink chief marketing officer Jerry Dow said in a statement. "We are able to quickly customize, target, and update ads with relevant offers to distinct local market segments."
Suddenlink had 1.3 million customers primarily in North Carolina, West Virginia, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma and California.
