Former DirecTV Inc. marketing executive Stephen Ste. Marie has been named
president and chief operating officer at Intertainer Inc., reporting to CEO
Jonathan Taplin.
'Steve is exactly the kind of leader we want at Intertainer -- smart,
experienced, creative, passionate and innovative,' Intertainer chairman Richard
Baskin said.
Ste. Marie joined DirecTV after stints in cable with Viacom Inc. and Time
Warner Cable. He led DirecTV's marketing efforts throughout the mid- and late
1990s, often speaking as a DirecTV executive at cable trade events.
Prior to his Intertainer appointment, Ste. Marie was CEO of CareerPath.com
(now CareerBuilder
Inc.).
