Recording artists Bowling for Soup have recorded a remake of the Gilligan's Island theme song to serve as the theme for TBS's new reality series, The Real Gilligan's Island, the network said Wednesday.
Bowling for Soup’s "1985" is currently moving up the singles charts.
Smith n' Borin also directed a music video for the song, which will be used to promote the series on TBS, in Regal Cinemas, via a special DVD insert in Entertainment Weekly and on cable music channels.
