TBS, Lowe's Play by House Rules

TBS Superstation, with a little help from Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse,
is jumping into the remodeling reality game.

The network is expected to bow House Rules (working title), pitting
three teams of amateur home remodelers in a contest to grab the home they have
modernized, this fall.

Produced by Evolution Film & Tape Inc. (Fear Factor, Big
Brother
) and ad agency MAGNA Global Entertainment, House Rules will
feature three couples vying to win their share of a remodeling allowance to be
used to pay for the renovations.

Once a week, they will also have an opportunity to spy on each other's
progress as they each host weekly potluck dinners for their opponents on a
rotating basis.

At the end of the 12-week competition, TBS viewers will select the winning
couple by voting on best design, best craftsmanship and best attitude. The team
with the most points will win the deed to their renovated home.

"This partnership between TBS Superstation and Lowe's brings the strength of
each company's assets to the table in a way that goes far beyond a traditional
media deal," Turner Entertainment Sales general manager Linda Yaccarino said in
a prepared statement.

"House Rules is a perfect example of how two companies can use their
brand power to provide viewers with incredible programming," she
added.
