ATLANTA - TBS Superstation
is working with WildTangent
to develop an Internet combat game to coincide with the March TV premiere of War Games, a two-hour television pilot.
The TV pilot presents authentic combat-readiness scenarios. For the online game, WildTangent will develop six different combat missions. Players can attack enemy forces using tanks, helicopters and other U.S. Army equipment.
"Utilizing an interactive combat game as part of the strategy is a natural fit and an added value for both for both TBS Superstation and our 'regular guy' audience," said TBS director of online marketing Richard Turner in a statement.
