Seven-year-old Turner Classic Movies has passed the 50 million-subscriber
mark, Turner Broadcasting System Inc. president of domestic distribution Andrew
Heller announced Monday.
The commercial-free basic-cable network added 10 million homes
in the past year alone, he added.
TCM presented more than 2,000 movies during 2000.
