TCM Lines Up Quartet of Sponsors for Hollywood Film Festival

The festival is still more than five months away, but TCM has lined up several key sponsors for its Tinseltown event.

The 2013 TCM Classic Film Festival, slated for April 25-28 in Hollywood, has inked pacts with a quartet of corporate supporters for its fourth annual celebration of vintage films: Verizon, Citi, Bonhams and Vanity Fair. Financial terms were not disclosed.

"We are delighted to have such a strong lineup of partners and sponsors for the TCM Classic Film Festival," said Dennis Adamovich, senior vice president of digital, affiliate, lifestyle and enterprise commerce for TCM, TNT and TBS, in a statement "The response we've had from companies wanting to participate in the festival is a testament to the power of the TCM brand and the passionate loyalty of its fans."

The following are network descriptors for the current sponsor relationships for the 2013 TCM Classic Film Festival:

  • Verizon – Official Partner – Returning to the TCM Classic Film Festival for the second year, Verizon will again proffer the Verizon FiOS experience – a branded location where attendees can check email or update their social media status between movies. Attendees can also compete for prizes in classic movie trivia contests while waiting to catch their next event.
  • Citi – Official Card – Citi will serve as the official card of the 2013 TCM Classic Film Festival. In addition to offering a exclusive festival pass presale to Citi credit and debit cardholders, attendees who use their Citi card to purchase festival passes will receive an exclusive gift when they arrive at the festival.   • Vanity Fair– Official Partner – This marks the fourth consecutive year the title is serving in this capacity, as the magazine will once again co-host the after-party following the opening-night screening of Funny Girl (1968). During the festival, the magazine will also present a collection of films co-curated by Vanity Fair contributing editor Matt Tyrnauer.
  • Bonhams: Fine Art Auctioneers & Valuers – Official Program Partner – Returning for its second year as a festival partner, fine art auction house Bonhams 1793 will provide items to be exhibited in Club TCM, the central gathering point for festival attendees. Bonhams will host a valuation session for select passholders in the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. In addition, Bonhams will be the presenting partner for a selection of British films that will screen during the festival.
