TheBlaze Inks Buckeye, Shentel Carriage Deals

Conservative Opinion/Entertainment network TheBlaze has reached carriage deals with Buckeye CableSystem and Shenandoah Telecommunications Company (Shentel), network officials announced Tuesday.

With the additions, the conservative-skewing service from Glenn Beck is now on cable systems in six of the top 30 content distributors, including DISH, Cablevision, Buckeye CableSystem and RCN, although network officials would not reveal TheBlaze’s current subscriber count. TheBlaze.com website does generate over 20 million unique visitors per month, according to network officials.

"Audiences across the country have been asking their television providers to add TheBlaze and we are proud to have Buckeye and Shentel join our growing list of partners," Lynne Costantini, TheBlaze president of business development, said in a release.
