IPTV vendors Tilgin AB, Minerva Networks Inc. and Latens Systems are combining forces to offer telcos an IPTV platform.
Tilgin is supplying its “Mood 300” IP set-top boxes with Latens’ content- and revenue-protection software and Minerva’s “iTVManager middleware.”
The companies said the integration work will make it easier for IPTV providers to deploy network-digital-video-recording features, HDTV and advanced codecs like MPEG-4 and H. 264.
