Time Warner Cable Expands Distribution Of Sprout
Time Warner Cable will expand distribution of toddler-targeted network Sprout across its cable systems, the two parties announced Friday.
In addition to Time Warner Cable systems in New York and Los Angeles, Sprout will now be available to Time Warner and Bright House Network subscribers in multiple markets across the country including Orlando, FL; Syracuse, Rochester and Albany, NY; Austin, Dallas, San Antonio and Corpus Christi, TX; Honolulu, HI; and Kansas City, MO, said officials.
With the additional launches, Sprout will now be available in 60 million homes.
“We’re delighted to increase our distribution of Sprout for our customers with pre-school children,” said Andrew Rosenberg, Senior Vice President, Content Acquisition for Time Warner Cable in a statement. “It’s valuable programming for our customers and their families and we look forward to making it available across our footprint.”
Added Sprout president Sandy Wax: “We have such strong momentum as we hit this important distribution milestone of 60 million homes. It’s such a great opportunity for us to expand our partnership with Time Warner Cable and broaden our distribution as we maintain our commitment to creating the very best original content and delivering it to preschoolers and their families.”
