Vice president of finance Stuart West was named acting chief financial officer at TiVo Inc.
The digital-video-recorder vendor said West is the only internal candidate for the permanent CFO slot.
Former CFO Dave Courtney announced in late 2005 his intention to leave the company after a transition period.
West has been with TiVo for more than five years.
