Nancy Kato has joined TiVo Inc. as vice president of human resources.
Kato had been VP of global compensation at Hewlett-Packard Co.
In her new role at the digital-video-recorder vendor, she will be responsible for developing and managing all processes and policies in regard to employee relations; recruiting and hiring; performance assessment and compensation; and employee and organizational development.
She reports to chief financial officer and executive VP of worldwide operations and administration David Courtney.
