In what may be too forward looking for even fans of reality real estate shows, TLC is trailing behind a realtor trying to lift sales in nudist communities.
TLC takes the wrap off of the premiere episode of Buying Naked on Saturday, June 28 at 10 p.m. (ET/PT). The series showcases the work of realtor Jackie Youngblood, who tries to unveil the best abodes for “in the buff” homebuyers in Pasco County, Fla., also bearing the distinction of Nudist Capital of America.”
Whereas prospective homebuyers typically factor in location, layout, and budget in their buying decisions, Youngblood and her crew have to apprise their clothing-optional clients of such other considerations/amenities/hazards as countertop height to sharp corners and flooring (rug burn hurts!). Routine tasks such as cooking, cleaning and even just walking can present safety risks for the unclothed occupants of the home.

Produced by Paper Route Productions, Buying Naked begins with Youngblood bringing together “textiles.” or clothed conservatives, of the Pasco County real estate industry and the nudists of the community for a, er, hands-on, networking event. Meanwhile, the team’s newest recruit, Alex, is put to the test when she enters a nudist community for the first time, and has to prove she’s got what it takes to sell a home to an especially eclectic nudist pair.
