TLC Names ‘Dream Dozen’ Primetime Programming Team

Following its recent move to Los Angeles, TLC said it hired 12 programming executives who will report to senior vice president of programming Brant Pinvidic.

The network, which had been based at the Silver Spring, Md., headquarters of parent Discovery Communications, called the team the “dream dozen.”

It named Brent Zacky vice president of programming. Zacky was previously vice president at E! Entertainment television, where he launched The Girls Next Door, Dr. 90210, Fashion Police and Chelsea Lately.

Former GSN director of original programming Tracey Lentz was named executive director of programming at TLC.

The network named former Asylym Entertainment vice president of development Christy Dees executive director of programming, and former 3Ball Productions executive Angela Molly was named director of programming.

Thee additional executives were also given director of programming titles: former Style director Stephanie Bianco, former NBC Entertainment executive Mariana Manela and former GRB Entertainment executive Holly Hines.

TLC named two managers of programming – former Madison Road Entertainment director Chris Ceccarelli and former FtvS manager Jennifer McGovern.

And it hired two executives with coordinator of programming titles – former Fox Broadcasting executive John Hein and former NBC Universal executive Brian Robles.
