TNS to Measure Charter in L.A.
TNS Media Research will provide video-audience-measurement services to Charter Communications Inc. in the Los Angeles area under terms of an agreement announced Monday.
The MSO said it will use TNS’ audience-measurement services “to maximize efficiencies when building custom television-advertising campaigns and promotional schedules internally and externally.”
Starting this month, Charter will provide aggregated and anonymous viewing data from 55,000 households in the Los Angeles area to TNS, which will then process the data and allow for next-day analysis through its “InfoSys” media-analysis and planning system.
TNS said InfoSys allows end-users to analyze media data in-depth, including daypart and program studies; target-group studies; lead-in/lead-out studies; duplication analyses; minute-by-minute flow studies; and competitive reports.
