Sharon Byrens has joined Turner Network Television in the newly created position of vice president, sponsored films, TNT Originals.
Byrens had been VP of original programming at Showtime Networks Inc.
In her new role, she will oversee development and production of TNT’s sponsored films, many of which will fall under the "Johnson & Johnson Spotlight" banner.
While at Showtime, she oversaw production for films including The Passion of Ayn Rand, Twilight of the Golds, Gods and Monsters, The Day Reagan Was Shot and Stealing Sinatra.
