TNT Picks Up The Beat
TNT has picked up 10 more episodes of freshman crime drama, Memphis Beat.
The show, starring Jason Lee and Alfre Woodard, debuted in June and was Tuesday night's top-rated show in the 25-54 demo, according to TNT. It will return sometime in 2011. The series averaged 4.7 million watchers on a live+7-day basis, according to Nielsen data.
That makes five shows TNT has renewed this year, following pick-ups of The Closer, freshman star Rizzoli & Isles, Leverage and HawthoRNe.
