'Tosh.O' Turns In Top Performance For Comedy Central
Comedy Central racked up its top numbers with Tosh. O on Wednesday night.
The June 23 installment delivered a series-high 2 million watchers and a best-ever 1.3 rating among adults 18 to 49, according to Nielsen data.
That demo performance for the fourth installment of the show's sophomore season led all of cable in its 10 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. time slot and secured the top spot among guys 18 for 24 in all of television for the second consecutive week and third since the series returned on June 2 (it's been first in cable all four weeks).
Tosh.0, which debuted June 4, 2009, features the humor and biting commentary from comedian Daniel Tosh, who delves into all aspects of the Internet from the absolutely absurd to the incredibly ingenious. Each episode showcased the segment "Web Redemption," which gives subjects of infamous viral videos (think Phillies Fan and Make It Snow Girl) a second chance to redeem themselves from the embarrassment with which they've become synonymous.
