TV One Resurrects ‘Love That Girl!’ Series
TV One has given a greenlight to a fourth season of its scripted comedy series Love That Girl!
The network this month will begin production of a new season of the series, but it will not include series star Tatyana Ali, who played lead character Tyana Jones, a recent young divorcee returning to Southern California in search of new independence. Network officials said Ali's is currently involved in other projects and would not be able to return to the show. The former Fresh Price Of Bel-Air star is currently featured in BET's series Second Generation Wayans.
The rest of the cast will return, including Phil Morris (Hot in Cleveland), Bresha Webb (Weeds), Alphonso McAuley (Breaking In), Peter Oldring (Glenn Martin DDS), Mark Adair-Rios (Off The Map), and Huggy Low Down (Tom Joyner Morning Show).
Reagan Gomez (The Cleveland Show, The Parent’Hood) will join the cast of the series, which is set to debut this fall.
“Our audience has been very vocal about their affinity towards this show,” explained Alfred C. Liggins, president and CEO of TV One. “The return of Love That Girl! speaks to the strength of the series – our viewers championed its return, and TV One answered the call.”
