TV One Wednesday announced programming projects with contemporary-music legend Patti LaBelle and movie and music superstar Will Smith.
LaBelle will return to the network for a new season of behind-the-scenes show Living It Up with Patti LaBelle. The six new episodes kick off Friday, June 24 from 8 p.m.-8:30 p.m. (EST) and will air Fridays at 8 p.m.
And Smith will appear in an exclusive interview with TV One on One host Catherine Hughes airing Thursday, June 30 from 8 p.m.-9 p.m.
“Hughes and Smith cover subjects ranging from his multifaceted music, television and motion-picture career; his relationship with his parents, wife Jada Pinkett Smith and children; why he avoids politics; and his passion for his role as an ambassador for AIDS awareness through Nelson Mandela's 46664 Foundation,” the network said in a prepared statement.
