Time Warner Cable said it has expanded its Unlimited Home Phone calling plan to include free calls to Mexico, adding to a list that already included the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
TWC customers under the plan can place unlimited, toll-free calls to landline and mobile numbers as part of their monthly phone service fee. The plan also covers several other features for no additional cost, including Caller ID, Call Waiting, 3-Way Calling, Selective Call Acceptance, Selective Call Blocking, Selective Call Forwarding, Answer Anywhere, and Enhanced 911.
TWC, which ended 2013 with 4.8 million residential phone subs, is currently marketing the plan for a 50% discount -- $10 per month – for 12 months. The MSO also pitches a Global Penny Phone Plan for $2.95 per month that covers 50 countries, and an International OnePrice tier for $20.95 per month that covers more than 100 countries.
