The Weather Channel said it has successfully integrated an interactive-TV application on Alticast Corp.’s Multimedia Home Platform- and OpenCable Application Platform-based middleware stacks.
TWC has been working on various interactive applications that would run current with its linear network feed. Those applications include current conditions, outlook, five-day planner and Doppler radar for local and regional areas. Users can look up current weather conditions throughout the country.
