Time Warner Cable said it has added some DVR-facing enhancements to its TWC TV app for iOS and Android devices, as well as the Kindle Fire HD/HDX
Among the DVR management tweaks added to the new 3.6 release, customers can view a list of recordings on all the DVRs in their homes, change recording priorities, and view the estimated percentage of storage used on each device. Based on that info, subs can also delete or cancel DVR recordings individually or by folder via the app.
The new app also alerts customers if there is a recording conflict and provides a walk-through on how to resolve it.
