Time Warner Cable Noticias NY1 has launched a series that will honor New York’s diverse Latin American communities.
The series begins with a focus on Paraguay, featuring interviews with New York residents of Paraguayan origin as well as various stories about how Paraguayan culture is represented in New York. Additional countries to be covered include Cuba, Puerto Rico and Argentina.
“Our hope is that these stories will continue to strengthen our connection to the local community and further our mission of making Noticias NY1 a platform through which we can celebrate the culture and identity of Hispanic New Yorkers,” said Roberto Lacayo, Executive Editor of Noticias NY1 in a statement.
The series begins with its focus on Paraguay this month in conjunction with the country’s Day of Independence.
