Two Marketing Execs Back in Cable
Showtime Networks Inc. announced Wednesday that it has hired Geof Rochester
as its new senior vice president of marketing.
And Mary Pat Blake, who recently left Charter Communications Inc. as senior
vice president of marketing and ad sales, has been named marketing advisor to
the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing.
Rochester served as senior vice president of sales and affiliate marketing at
Comcast Corp. before leaving the MSO in 1998.
Most recently, he was chief marketing officer for iSun Networks Inc., and
before that, vice president of marketing and business development for
Naviant.
Rochester will report to both executive vice president of creative and
marketing Len Fogge and executive vice president of sales and affiliate
marketing Jeff Wade.
CTAM, which also made its announcement Wednesday, said Blake will research
and write about marketing trends for the association's 'eTAM Monthly.'
Blake will also work with CTAM's various committees and
