Two days after shareholders in bankrupt European cable operator United
Pan-European Communications N.V. (UPC) approved a debt-for-equity swap, UPC
parent UnitedGlobalCom Inc. said the U.S. Bankruptcy Court approved the
company's Chapter 11 reorganization plan.
