USA to Premiere Weekly Golf Series
USA Network announced Monday that it will debut a live one-hour weekly show focusing on the sport of golf.
PGA Tour Sunday on USA, airing Sunday mornings beginning Jan. 12, will blend up-to-date tournament "game day" reports, topical golf stories and analysis with golf lifestyle and instructional programming, network executives said.
"This is where the world of professional golf and the worlds of entertainment and pop culture meet every week," executive producer Gordon Beck said in a prepared statement. "PGA Tour Sunday is live with that week's top golf stories, reports from the final round of that Sunday's event and a wide range of features."
PGA Tour Sunday is part of USA Network's extensive 2003 golf coverage, which includes more than 30 PGA Tour events.
