Voom HD Networks’ Equator HD will debut original two-part HD special Vanishing Planet Sept. 6 and 13 at 8 p.m. (EST).
Vanishing Planet “documents the complex story of conservation on Madagascar, an island off the East coast of Africa, where people are struggling to survive off of the land,” the network said in a prepared statement.
The special was executive-produced and directed by Emmy Award-winning director Angus Yates.
