Veria Living Adds Live Daily Lifestyle Talk Show

The Veria Living (www.veria.com) network said it will launch a live, one-hour, daily lifestyle talk show with a studio audience beginning on Monday, Feb. 10 at 1 p.m. ET. Hosted by a panel of rotating contributors, Veria Living Live will feature a mix of pop-culture stories and celebrity interviews, as well as cooking, fitness, fashion, beauty and health segments. Viewers at home will be able to join the conversation and ask real-time questions via Skype, phone, email, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.

Celebrity chef and best-selling cookbook author Rocco DiSpirito will co-host Veria Living Live on Tuesday, Feb. 11. Other premiere week events include a Valentine’s Day special on Friday, Feb. 14, and the kickoff of a month-long “Weight Loss Secret of The Day” series. The show will re-air at weekdays at 10 p.m. ET.

“The response from viewers to VLC, our 15-minute talk show blocks, was overwhelming,” Eric Sherman, Veria Living’s new CEO, said in a release.  “We are expanding the original series to give viewers more of what they want -- ‘supersized’ segments with even more food, fashion, fitness, beauty and health tips all rolled into one entertaining and informative hour of television. Hosts will be able to connect with viewers to help give them the tools to lead better lives.”

Executive produced by daytime veteran George Davilas (Anderson Live, The Doctors, The Martha Stewart Show), each episode of Veria Living Live starts with “The Juice,” a segment in which Veria Living Live hosts will “squeeze in” as many of the biggest pop culture stories everyone is talking  about. “The Juice” is followed by “News In: 90,” a fast-paced look at the latest stories making lifestyle headlines.

Other recurring segments include: “Ask The Expert;” “Veria Living Meal Makeovers” and “Veria Living Dessert Makeovers;” “Veria Living Beauty Lab;” “Veria Living Fit Club;” “Veria Living Med Spa;” "Secret of the Day" and “Rock It or Wreck It!”.

Other upcoming celebrity guests include Dr. Oz, Lisa Oz, Russell Simmons, Jo Frost and Jillian Michaels, the network said.
