Verizon CFO To Retire
By Staff
published Verizon Communications chief financial officer Doreen Toben informed the company's board of her plans to retire around mid-year 2009.
Verizon Thursday said it would name a successor to Toben "shortly."
Prior to being named CFO in 2002, Toben was senior vice president and chief financial officer for Verizon's domestic telecom group. She began her career in 1983 at AT&T, later moving to Bell Atlantic, which in 2000 merged with GTE to form Verizon.
