Verizon Communications won cable-TV franchises to offer its Verizon FiOS TV service in Belmont, Mass., and Greenburgh, N.Y.
The addition of Belmont brings Verizon’s FiOS TV tally in Massachusetts up to 19 communities.
Greenburgh, the first Westchester County community to approve FiOS TV, is the 14th municipality in New York State to grant the regional Bell operating company a cable franchise.
