VH1 has ordered a sober spinoff to its popular Celebrity Rehab franchise.
Celebrity Rehab Presents Sober House will track members from the franchise’s first two campaigns as they relocated into a “sober house” following their rehab stints.
Rodney King, Nikki McKibbin, Steven Adler and Amber Smith from the show’s sophomore season will join the likes of Seth “Shifty” Binzer and Mary Carey from its first campaign. Comedian Andy Dick will join the series a few episodes in.
Dr. Drew will also visit the sober house, along with counselor Bob Forrest and program assistant, William Smith. They will be joined by resident “house mother,” Jennifer Gimenez who has battled her own drug and alcohol demons. Giminez, who appeared in such films as Blow and Vanilla Sky, will be on site to keep the residents on the clean and narrow.
