Hip-hop artist and actor Ice Cube became the latest honoree at the third annual VH1 Hip Hop Honors, which will take place at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York Saturday, Oct. 7, airing on the network Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 8 p.m.
Ice Cube joins previously announced honorees Wu-Tang Clan, Afrika Bambaataa, Russell Simmons, MC Lyte, Rakim, Beastie Boys and Eazy E.
Ice T will host the event.
