VH1 Ready for Hall of Fame Ceremony
VH1 will air the 2005 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Ceremony Saturday, March 19 at 9 p.m., the network said Thursday.
The event will take place at The Waldorf-Astoria in New York March 14.
This year’s inductees are blues guitarist Buddy Guy, soul singer Percy Sledge, soul group the O'Jays, rock artists The Pretenders and Dublin quartet-turned-supergroup U2.
In addition, Frank Barsalona, founder and president of Premier Talent Agency, and Seymour Stein, chairman of Sire Records, will be inducted in the “Lifetime Achievement in the Non-Performer” category.
Special guest presenters will include Justin Timberlake, Bruce Springsteen, B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Rod Stewart and Neil Young.
