VH1’s ‘Drumline: A New Beat’ Draws 2.4M Viewers
VH1’s Monday night premiere of original movie Drumline: A New Beat made sweet ratings music for the network.
The movie, a reboot of the popular 2002 movie Drumline, drew 2.4 million viewers during its 9 p.m. premiere, according to network officials. Including an 11:30 p.m. encore, the series averaged 3.3 million viewers overall last night.
The movie also ranks as the fourth most watched original film among women 18-34 on cable this year, said network officials.
