Condista-distributed pay TV channels Video Rola and Teleformula are now offering HD versions of their signals to U.S. cable and satellite operators.
With the upgrade, Video Rola becomes the first regional Mexican music channel offering high-definition transmissions to U.S. audiences. At the same time, TeleFormula benefits from a crisper, sharper broadcast signal for its slate of magazine-style programming focused on news, finance, sports and women’s issues.
“The viewer experience is critical for Video Rola, and having the most popular music programming in HD will enhance that experience,” Condista partner Burke Berendes said.
Speaking about Teleformula, Condista founder and partner Jorge Fiterre added: “It is not only important to bring the latest news to our audience but also that we do it with the best quality possible. Teleformula’s move to HD provides the highest quality signal possible -- even for our SD affiliates.”
