Vonage Network interim president Tim Smith assumed the post on a permanent basis.
Smith, who had been interim president at the voice-over-Internet-protocol provider since June, joined the company in July 2005 as senior vice president of network and systems infrastructure.
He will continue to oversee all network and systems operations globally and manage the Vonage Network staff.
