Voom HD Networks launched an HD channel solely dedicated to the world of video gaming.
The programmer said Gameplay HD will feature news and information from the industry; original series and specials; and tournaments and competitions from around the world.
The Rainbow Media Holdings LLC-owned slate of HD networks also announced that CNET Networks’ Gamespot will produce two new series for Gameplay HD: GameSpotting, a half-hour series of news, reviews and previews; and CinemAddicts, an hourly series featuring video games “in a cohesive cinematic story.”
