Weather Channel Sets New Weekly Talk Show
The Weather Channel later this month will launch a new talk show that will focus on the issues facing the weather community.
Weather Geeks, which debut July 20, will explore the issues that are top of mind in the weather community such as the pros and cons of storm chasing that are rarely explored in depth on television, said network officials. Guests on Weather Geeks will come from all areas of meteorology, including members of the media or private sector.
“We recognize that we play a role in a much larger community and we felt an obligation to set aside air time for that community to come together and share ideas and expertise,” said David Clark, president of The Weather Channel.
