The Weather Channel is launching a new personalized subscription service,
www.weather.com Gold, for a yearly price of
$14.99.
The site includes local radar images updated every five minutes, enchanced radar functionality and maps, and a selection of six national weather maps.
The site allows subscribers to add weather information
for up to 11 cities from a database of 80,000 locations.
