WICT Announces ‘LEA Awards’ Winners
The Southern California Chapter of Women in Cable & Telecommunications Monday announced the winners of the 2004 “LEA Awards.”
The LEA Awards -- LEA stands forleadership, education and advocacy -- recognize individuals for their achievements in those areas and in support of WICT.
The formal gala awards presentation will be held at the Beverly Hills Hotel Thursday, Oct. 21.
This year’s winners:
• Lifetime Achievement Award: Bridget Baker, senior vice president, cable distribution, NBC Universal Networks.
• Woman of the Year Award: Dawn Callahan, director of marketing, Time Warner Cable.
• Advocate Leader Award: Ida Tagliente, regional sales manager, sponsorships and events, Adelphia Communications Corp.
